Fix Your Air Conditioning with A/C Pro | DIY AC Repair Toyota Tacoma
Is your AC not blowing cold air?! Fix that thing the simple easy way. If your AC compressor and clutch are working then you probably just need a refill on your AC refrigerant. I bought this at O'Reilly and it still works several weeks later. Don't pay lot's of money at the mechanic shop, just do it yourself.
I did this on my 2008 Toyota Tacoma, but it should be the same on almost all cars, the only difference is the location of your low and high pressure hoses.

Replaced the alternator on my 2003 VW Golf. Do it yourself alternator replacement. Picked up this re-manufactured alternator from Auto Zone. I signed up for their email list and got 20% off, plus if you take back your old one they will give you $40. The job wasn't that bad. Very little tools needed. Video sponsored by me. 2008 Toyota Tacoma Front Brakes, New Pads and Resurface Rotors
Переглядів 38Місяць тому
Save lots of money and do your own brakes. Save more money by getting your rotors resurfaced. Store wanted $180 for new rotors. These were fine and just needed to be cut to get rid of the grooves. If you change your pads before they get this bad you probably don't even need resurfacing. Custom Offsets Wheels www.customwheeloffset.com/ Music provided by: Causmic - Two Face

What is up folks. I know it's been a minute. Been busy but I wanted to share this video to let you know what I've been working on. Been doing a lot of Amazon Flex driving and putting lots of miles on my daily drivers. They were in need of some serious maintenance, so I got to work by first replacing the tires on the Taco. In the next video I will show you how to do the front brakes your self an...

Thanks....I had this tool the whole time and needed to cut thick weeds behind my house. No new tools needed!
Awesome. I also bought a metal blade attachment later.
Exactly the same application I wanted to use it for, thanks!
Lemme know how it goes. It’s been great for me but I want to add another modification to make it a full wall divider.
Did it leak ? I ask because there are adapter seals that go from the 8mm oil holes on the top of the case to the 10mm holes on the oil cooler base. The seals are a light blue in color
I think you are right. I haven’t noticed any leaking yet but I need to put more miles on it. I thought about that after I put the seals but was over it and didn’t want to drive back to the parts store 😆
Nice job. I have done this in the past on older vehicles, works perfect !
Awesome. Yes, this was on my 2008 Tacoma.
How many seats will it have?
Good question. This was last year, so don’t remember exactly. I believe it is roomy so maybe eight. Depending on interior choice. The camper option seats less.
I want to RAISE the rear 1 inch. Actually 1.5 but I don't think that's doable . SO, I watched how you lowered it, can I raise it the same way or does the plate hit the stop?. Do I actually have to take off the entire drum and brakes or is there a way to just leave it on to make the adjustment?. Thanks for your help.
Yes! Absolutely. You can do what I did but just turn the spring plate up instead of down. As far as how much it’s difficult to know how much it will raise until you do it. There is also the option of turning the torsion bar by pulling it out and reinserting at a different position. As far removing the drum I think it depends on what year you have. I don’t remember having to do this on my bug so it might just be a bus thing since the brake line goes through the brake housing.
If you have Instagram you can message me there at SanDiego_VDubLife
Great tip ! Had that issue on my Civic. Was a body ground. Made a vid on it, one of my most viewed vids so far
Wow. Yeah. I just watched another video on this from a popular Canadian UA-cam mechanic. He also cleaned up the ground. I gotta check that next!
I agree this chair is so worth 130 bucks plus tax
Thanks for watching. I'm still enjoying this chair.
Thanks for the refresh, i might need to open up a dash again. I installed a Kenwood Excelon Ddx396 on my uncle's 07 Tacoma. But now the radio stopped working because the car battery got replaced. Need to help him troubleshoot 😅
No problem. Thanks for watching. Battery should not impact the stereo not working. I would contact Kenwood. Should be covered by warranty if it’s not too old. Love this stereo! Working great!
Well done, at least it's in a good spot
Yeah it was easy to get to.
Nice !
How much is the beam narrowed by ?
4 inches
If it works 👍
👍👍👍👍
Nice !
Thanks!
Nice job on the stereo install 👍
Thanks dude. Love the look of this thing and the quality is top notch. Now I just gotta install the speakers. 😆
Nice job on your brakes! It went better than mine lol. Great filming !
Jaaa. Yeah but you guys have so much corrosion up there from the roads!
Tires look great !
Thanks. Love them. Good deal too.
Thanks for the shout out my friend. Im just getting caught up on your vids !
Jaaa. Yup no problem. Had to give PStreet a shout out!
Nice video that's a good idea to cover the tops of them with cardboard😊
Thanks! 😊
My freezer is not freezing can you help
There was a recall part on this model. Check that first. Call Samsung to check. Model number should be inside.
I have 09 Tacoma I changed oil at the dealer they use 5W-30 toyo convention oil. My run like new.
Thanks
Great job!
Thanks!
Thanks for your video. I’m attempting this tomorrow, actually fitting adjustable spring plates
Yeah. Wish I would have done that so I could adjust without having to redo everything.
Nice !
Thanks!
Just ordered it after a couple weeks of my glove box stuck open. Hopefully it goes smoothly.
I added those but I don't have power on the left side, and very dim on the right side. No blown fuses.
Make sure connections are clean and tight. If your stock lights worked fine then maybe the new ones are defective. Ask for some new ones. Mine work fine and still look good as of today.
@SanDiego_VDubLife thanks for the reply, I bench checked the old and new lights they work fine. Fuses are good I can't figure out what's the deal with this smh
@@MrAlexjr06 Bench test won't identify if there is an issue with connectivity. I would reinstall the stock lights and see what happens. If you have no problems then it is the after market lights. If you face issues with the stock lights when reinstalled then something went wrong with the connections.
Slippery when wet
Good to know. Glad I live in SoCal.
That is the worst decision of your life They are extremely poor quality with the most complaints against a manufacturer todate
Wow. Interesting. What type of complaints? They seem fine so far. I have been driving everyday with plenty of miles.
I put a set on my Rav4 😂 Lovem❤ co$tly but nice
@@Probe253 awesome. Good to hear. Yeah over $1k. Ugggg
Separation, egging onside walls, delaminate at speed, cords braking the list goes on They were made in the USA, now made out of the USA
Good tutorial, thank you! I'm looking to raise mine, haha. Should be a similar process.
Yes. Same thing. Just turn the other direction.
just installed a set of these into a 02 GTI. the car had factory fogs, plug and play. Did you figure out what that harness with the little clip is for?
Not sure what which one your talking about but if it was extra it was prob for the fog lights that I don’t have on my car stock so I will have to go buy some OEM fogs to install on these light housings. I may do that in the future.
@@SanDiego_VDubLife the smaller bottom light should be the fogs.
Thank you! This helped me alot! the Instructions were not very clear. I appreciate it!
Glad it helped!
Great job 👏 very well explained thank you brother 💯💯
Very welcome
hey did your model have the touchless option where you just hit the top and water turns on?
No sorry I did not get that style. But those sound cool.
Good idea I'm just gonna fix my golf 6 with magnets 👍
Good idea
Very good idea!!
Thank you! 😊
Blue diamond like liquid
Use a gas weed eater and you won’t need those blades.
This is exactly the kit I used for my Beetle, however on my Beetle (2001) it took a bit more "creativity" On my Beetle the screws are set way deeper, so if you somplt put the magnetic catch in, it is too deep to catch the metal disc on the lid. Also they are at an odd angle and will not contact the lid nice and flat. So Beetle owners, if you want this kit to work, you have to be a bit more creative. Do like I did and mount the magnets at the very top edge of the glove box. I dropped the glove box, and epoxy in a wooden strip of square right behind the upper lip of the glove box. Then after the epoxy is all set, drill a 12mm hole, but do not go all the way threw your wood, just a hole threw the plastic to expose the wood. The mount the magnets with the screw provided into the wood. Set your black metlel catch prices onto your lid on the perfect contacting spot and your good. The Beetle has to be different and difficult, but it works marvelous 👍
Nice. Thanks for sharing. Good advise
I think you can turn the tie-rod tube without taking out the tie-rod end. It's the reason why they have opposite threads at each side. Some tie-rod bars have a flat side portion so you can get a wrench on it once you've undone the locknuts.
Yeah mine didn’t have the flat spots to turn the rod.
Leave 'em stock. No issues.
True but I wanted to upgrade to a newer style cooler. This style came stock on the later engines that VW built. Maybe 1600cc and later. It allows the air to flow directly onto the number three cylinder.
do you have to use the wiring harness adapter?
Not necessarily. I think you can do without. Just have to clip all the wires and match them up
Never seen this done
Yeah. Me neither. It was my first time seeing this tool. I paid $120 to have all four tires mounted and balanced and sensors programmed. Not sure if that was a good price or not?
@@SanDiego_VDubLife doesn't seem bad
how did you clean the drain hole if it's clogged up?
You can pour hot water if it’s ice. If it’s food or debris you can try a coat hanger or pipe cleaner
My truck is a 2016. Still good
Yeah. Mine is a 2008. Been out for a while. Keep an eye out the battery could go out soon. Replace when you get new tires.
Hows it holding up so far? How waterproof is it in your experience?
Doing great. No water gets in even when it rains! Still looking good too.
